St. Fort Squire

St Fort Squire, bred by A Mylius & Partners, retained in the St. Fort Herd as a stock bull in May 2015.  Retained because of his pedigree and his notable Lincoln Red characteristics. At 13 months old had an impressive DLWG of 1.76kgs. His Signet EBVs show him in the top 25% for Beef Value ; in top 10% for Maternal Production   Value & top 8% for Calving Ease.

Original Population Lincoln Red, selected by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust for semen collection and endorsed by the  Lincoln Red Cattle Society.

His Sire: Norton Beau, was got by AI from a straw by Cockerington Tyler.  Cockerington Tyler

was the stock bull at St. Fort back in the 1970s & was Supreme Champion at the Royal Show in

1977, 1978 & 1979 & the Royal Highland Show in 1978 & 1979.  Norton Beau was purchased by

St. Fort at the Society Spring Show & Sale in 2009.  He was Champion  Lincoln Red and Reserve Interbreed Champion at the Perth Show in 2010.

His Dam: St Fort Lady Thora L780 was a daughter of Brooks Thora 119th who was purchased by

St. Fort Herd for 3,400gns in 2004
