Champion Female Calf and Overall Champion Calf from the Cooper’s Coneygarth Herd in South Yorkshire: Coneygarth Nancy C299 sold for 4,000 Gns to Hayley &Tom Williamsons’ Williamsons Herd in Lincolnshire. The March 2023 born calf is Sired by Donington Yuri (bred by Mr J G Parkinson) out of Coneygarth Nancy X217.
Reserve Champion Female Calf & Reserve Overall Calf from Mrs S Buchan’s Auchmacoy Herd in Aberdeenshire: Auchmacoy Bianca C64 sold for 1,500 Gns to Kit Corbridge’s Shutt Herd , Derbyshire. Also a March 2023 born calf Sired by Auchmacoy Xcalibur who was Champion Bull and Overall Breed Champion at the 2023 Royal Highland Show, out of Auchmacoy Bianca T228.
Champion Bull Calf from Mrs S Buchan’s Auchmacoy Herd, Auchmacoy Conlan sold for 1,600 Gns to Chris Page’s Foulness Herd, East Yorkshire. March 2023 born he is also Sired by Auchmacoy Xcalibur out of Auchmacoy Ada S187.
2,800 Gns for Maiden Lincoln Red Heifer
The highest priced Maiden Heifer from the Ed Middleton’s Holegate Herd in Lincolnshire; Holegate May B152 sold for 2,800 Gns to Tom Nicholls’ Ladycrofts Herd in Buckinghamshire. Sired by Brackenhurst Warrior out of Holegate May Y70. Also selling to the Ladycrofts Herd for 2,500 Gns was Holegate Gloria B146, another Brackenhurst Warrior daughter out of Holegate Gloria Y51.
The Female Champion, 2022 born Maiden Heifer, Mrs S Buchan’s Auchmacoy Bianca B45 sold to new Member, Lisa Kemp’s Kemp Herd in Nottinghamshire, for £2,800. Sired by Brackenhurst Wiseguy out of Auchmacoy Bianca P116.
The Reserve Champion Female, 2022 born Maiden Heifer, from Jamie Quinn & Sue Oliver’s Axholme Herd in North Lincolnshire, Axholme Heroine B82 sold for 2,000 Gns to Tim Hunter’s Lindsey Herd in Lincolnshire. Sired by Axholme X12 David Brown out of Legbourne Heroine S141.
